Current public sources identify Ruggiero Lanotte as an 8th Degree Master, President of FITSPORT Italia, national head of the OPES ITF Taekwon‑Do sector and EITF Vice President for the South-West region. Giuseppe Lanotte is identified as a 7th Degree Master, FITSPORT Italia Secretary General and Team Italy head coach.
Their professional backgrounds support their sporting work: Ruggiero is an Economics graduate with specialist experience in non-profit management, while Giuseppe is a lawyer registered with the Trani Bar. Their documented teaching and organisational activity dates back to the early 1990s.
International activity
Events and sporting relationships
The Lanotte brothers have contributed to championships, seminars, training camps and international events in Italy, including the 2025 ITF World Championships in Jesolo. The official ITF report records more than 1,200 competitors from 70 countries and approximately 2,000 participants overall, including coaches, umpires and officials. The 2026 International Barletta Challenge brought athletes from nine European countries together and featured an elite Grand Prix.
